  2. Be as thin as an iPhone
  3. Have a solid camera
  4. Display video seamlessly
  5. Run 3-D games like the iPhone
  6. Edit documents as well as the Macbook
  7. Display books as well as the Kindle
  8. Play music as well as the iPod
  9. Have built in (good) speakers
  10. Support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G
  11. Run full Mac OS
  12. Have at least a 7hr battery life
  13. GPS
  14. 160gb Harddrive
  15. Cost less than $1000

Anything less, and I will complain, ya hear me Apple?

No. the point is that expectations are ridiculously high. No product can currently reach these lofty goals on the first go-round. Bonus #16: Push notifications.

    Stephen, this has nothing to do with your post but I just noticed that the colors of your blog and even more noticeably the blue of the right sidebar REALLY enhances the color of your eyes.

    Intelligent post Steven. I agree about the sky-high expectations heaped on Apple right now. I'd also like the ability for the tablet to cook me breakfast. Until a gadget can do that, technology still has room for growth, as far as I'm concerned.
